Experts from various sectors convened by the European Union’s Life Watercool project, which is being developed in Seville, will analyse the role that public services and urban renewal should play in climate adaptation in the face of the climate crisis and improve the comfort of citizens in public spaces in the face of rising temperatures.<\/p>\n

The event will take place on 10 March in an online format and will be free of charge with prior registration.<\/p>\n

The forum will start with the intervention of Jos\u00e9 Manuel Puerto Gisbert, head of the infrastructures division of Emasesa, who will present the LIFE WATERCOOL LIFE 18 CCA\/ES\/001122 project.<\/p>\n

Amelia P\u00e9rez Zabaleta, Director of the Aquae-UNED Foundation Chair of Water Economics, will speak on: ‘Investment needs in the renovation of urban water cycle infrastructures’.<\/p>\n

Municipal services towards a new urban model’ will be the focus of the presentation by C\u00e9sar Gallardo, Head of the Service of the Energy and Sustainability Agency of the Seville City Council.<\/p>\n

The presentations will end with ‘The user at the centre of Emasesa’s management’ by Alfonso Garc\u00eda, Head of Emasesa’s Consumption and Services Division, after which a debate will be held.<\/p>\n
